God's Extended Hand

If you are interested in getting involved at God's Extended Hand (GEH), check out the following options:
 
Option #1:  Serve Breakfast Every Third Saturday of the Month
Join us as we serve breakfast every third saturday of the month. 
 
Here's what you can do:
- Serve breakfast.
- Share a story from your spiritual life, or share a message from the Bible about Jesus.
- Help with the musical aspect of our service (see below).
- Spend time praying with the homeless.
- Bring you professional skills to encourage and help the patrons there.*
- Contribute $10/month to help with the maintenance of the center.  Please bring the donation that day.
* note: we are planning to have a team help with job interviews and resume reviews starting in October.  Any skill is welcome, however: some examples from the past include free haircuts and free acupuncture!
 
Here's our schedule:
 
Arrival/Pre-Service:
8:45AM: Meet in front of Tapioca Express in UTC (the one by Vons, corner of Arriba/Regents) for carpool.
9:15AM: Arrive at GEH, meet up with any Ethnos volunteers that chose to go directly to GEH.
9:20-9:30AM: Team assignments and prayer.
 
Services, Breakfast:
9:30-9:45AM: message or personal story from one of our volunteers 
9:45-10AM: worship through music, led by one of our volunteers (piano available at venue, digital monitor available to share lyrics, can bring own instruments)
10:00AM: begin serving breakfast.
10:10AM: begin provision of any professional skills.  Begin prayer corner for any patrons.
10:45 AM: cleanup, begin departure.

Option #2: Come on a different day, with your own group or on your own
 
Breakfast and dinner are served almost every day.  If you have a particular day or time you would like to go down, please contact us at question@ethnos.us.

Option #4: Our residential Internship Program
